We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
The Warehouse has become a staple of our community. In 2019 we had over 72,000 visits! What we offer the community (free access to sports, the arts, and other recreational activities) is more important than ever. As we are moving into winter, the kids in our community, especially those who can't afford memberships to other programs, desperately need access to a safe, indoor place to play.
The City of Bloomington has mandated we remain closed until our parking lot renovation is completed. We have been bogged down by red-tape, permitting delays, and near-impossible requirements such as planting more trees than will fit on our property. It took us a long time to get the money together to upgrade the parking lot, but we are ready to do the work. An additional requirement of planting nearly 300 trees has been added to the project permit. An alternate site for planting has finally been approved, but this added requirement has increased the cost of this project by $40,000. We need your help in purchasing these trees as we cannot reopen until the project is completed. We have a very generous donor match for every tree purchased.
We miss you guys! Help us get this project done so that we can re-open!
